The estimated shipping delivery dates are provided directly by the shipping providers and not by Cowpokes Work & Western. Unfortunately, with heavy shipping volumes, carriers are experiencing delays, and they have not changed their estimated shipping times. Please allow extra shipping time beyond any estimate they provide.  Please also be aware that USPS is experiencing delays in updating tracking and or delivering shipments. We have been told that the USPS Indianapolis Distribution center is backed up and causing delays.  If a lost shipment claim needs to be filed, we have to wait 20 days from the ship date for USPS claims and we can contact UPS within a couple days after their provided expected UPS delivery date.  Once a claim is completed, we will reach out to you with the carriers update and discuss the next steps. 

USPS Priority Mail has a target delivery window of 2-3 shipping business days but does not guarantee that delivery time frame. 1-2 business day delivery is guaranteed for Priority Mail Express shipments only.  For Priority Mail Express shipments shipped on Friday, the guaranteed delivery date could actually be Tuesday of the next week as they do not generally count weekend days!  AND please remember that it can take 1-2 business days from the time we receive your order to process and then ship the order out. 

Items may be returned within 30 days of in-store purchase or within 30 days of receiving your online order. Usually, purchases made after November 1st may be returned up until January 30th for Holiday returns. Saddles must be returned within 14 days of purchase/receiving it. 

All items must be returned in their original, unworn clean condition with original tags and or product box, receipts, and an online return form. Please complete the Return Form included with your order and include it in your return shipment. We do not provide or refund return shipping for orders.  Online Returns/Exchanges are normally processed within 1-2 business days of us receiving them in our office and will be processed according to your completed form requesting either: an exchange or a refund of the item(s) purchase price (we do not refund shipping). We will then process the refund for the item(s) purchase price of the requested exchange and ship the new item to you without new shipping charges.  Worn/Altered/Hemmed/Tailored/Custom or merchandise covered in animal hair/fur cannot be returned.  

If your shipment/Item has been damaged, please keep all boxes and packaging as we will need photos of the packaging and the item for the damage claim. Then immediately contact us via email at customerservice@cowpokesonline.com or telephone at 765-642-3911. Damaged products may require a longer return/exchange process period, since we will be working with the carrier to file a claim and resolve the issue. 

When returning footwear, please return them in their undamaged original box that is then placed inside a shipping box. Any returns with taping, tearing, writing on or damage to the item’s original box will incur a $20 return/damage fee that will need to be paid before an exchange can be processed or will be automatically withheld from the refund.  For further details, please see our Shipping & Returns page.

We only provide return shipping if you received the wrong item or if the item you receive is defective and confirmed defective by the manufacturer. If you do receive the wrong or defective item, please contact us and provide pictures of the item and its style # you received in error or pictures of the damaged shipment box and/or  damaged item(s) inside the shipping box.  Then please contact us immediately at customerservice@cowpokesonline.com or by phone at 765-642-3911. 

Please contact us immediately at 765.642.3911 or customerservice@cowpokesonline.com if your purchase is defective so we may begin a defect claim. For online orders and customers unable to come into our store, we will need pictures of the defect. Once we can confirm the defect and have an approved defect claim, we will provide you a return shipping label for us to process a refund or exchange.  Please be aware that this may take some time to process as we will be working with the manufacturer in regards to their defective item. 

At this time, we offer two different types of gift cards. One is for in-store use only, and the other is for online use only. Both can be purchased online, but please pay close attention to which one you are purchasing.

We do offer in-store layaway. We require 20% of the total purchase to be paid as a deposit and will hold the layaway for 60 days. After 60 days, or if you cancel the layaway, we will return the item(s) to inventory and assess a restocking fee. The restocking fee is based on your total layaway purchase amount, which is $10 per $100. So a layaway total of $245.50, for example, would have a restocking fee of $30.00, which would be withheld from the original $49.10 deposit.

If there is something you want but do not see it on our site or in our store, definitely ask us if we can special-order it for you. We have catalogs in-store, and we can also contact the manufacturer to see if it is in stock and available to order. We do offer an in-store Military discount to former and current Military personnel. Upon presenting a current Military ID or a current Operators License with the Veteran designation, Cowpokes will give a 10% discount.  For online orders, please add a note to your order that you are eligible for a Military Discount and then email a copy of your ID to us at: customerservice@cowpokesonline.com

We do offer wedding party discounts for parties of 4 or more people. Upon signing up for our in-store wedding party discount, the bride and groom will receive a 20% discount on non-sale/non-clearance: boots, jeans, shirts, and hats, and members of the wedding party will receive a 15% discount on non-sale/non-clearance boots, jeans, shirts, and hats.

We do not offer boot cleaning or boot repair, but we do offer boot stretching. If you are purchasing a pair of boots, we will do the first stretch for free. Boot stretching after purchase or for pre-owned boots is $10.00 per stretch.

Yes, we have an in-house hat department and steamer that allow us to offer hat cleaning, shaping, stretching, and starching. Depending on the extent of cleaning or work needed, hat cleanings range from $10-$30. Shaping ranges from $5-$20, Stretching is $3.00, Starching is $3-$5, and Brim Trimming $5-$10. Cardboard hat boxes are available for $8.00

We do offer jean hemming services on items purchased from Cowpokes Work & Western. The cost of jean hemming is $15 per pair of jeans.

Cowpokes will no longer be providing Embroidery and/or  Screen Printing  as of February 2025.
